Here at BetterYou we always want to make sure that you are getting adequate sleep but are also utilizing your time in order for you to work toward things you value in your life.

Is It Good For You?

If you have ever asked: is waking up early good for you? I feel like those who enjoy waking up at 10 a.m. or later are dreading this answer. However, the answer is yes and for many reasons. To start, you will sleep better if you wake up early because you’ll go to sleep earlier. Not only that, you’ll have better cognitive function—so you will mentally feel better and have clarity throughout the day. You’ll have more time to improve your eating habits as well as your physical activity. Not only that, you’ll have the ability to get out of the house sooner to avoid traffic or the school drop-off havoc. You can even use the time to meditate, to practice yoga, or to do something mindful for the day.
